4 of his 5 goals were penalties I think, so stats mean bugger all sometimes.

Some will rate him and others like myself will think he's average and shouldn't be anywhere near the international scene, due to him proving over 60 games Thatcher doesn't actually bring much to the party.

Milner might be a very good player. But is he a game changer? Great players actually make a difference in matches. They do things that are special. They get people (at least they get me) out of my seat.

Milner runs about a lot but I have never seen him do anything with a football that has made me jump to my feet watching it.
